Need a rapid result for Fit to Fly Certification?
Visit one of our clinics where a trained healthcare professional will collect your sample.
Sample
A healthcare professional will use a swab to collect a sample from your throat and nose. The swab comprises of a long thin flexible stick with a soft tip. After a sample has been collected, the healthcare professional will put the swab in a tube, seal it and send it to a laboratory for testing.
Test
As soon as the laboratory technologist receives your sample, they will perform a process called extraction. This process isolates genetic material from the sample, including any virus that may be present. The sample will be analysed by the PCR machine.
Results
Your results will be issued as soon as they are received from the lab, usually in under 3 hours. As long as your result is negative you will receive your test result, your fit to fly certificate, doctors certificate, evidence of supply and evidence of your consultation. This is everything you need to travel.
